A Great Strategic Loss

Part 2

Our exclusive interview with Richard Anderson Falk presents an in-depth, first-hand insight into a myriad of issues pertaining to Iran’s political affairs before and after the Islamic revolution with a particular focus on the US policy towards Iran in both periods.

Richard Flak is an American professor emeritus of international law at Princeton University. From 2008 to 2014, he was United Nations Special Rappoerteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories occupied since 1968.

In our informative, thought-provoking documentary, Falk deals with issues such as the CIA-orchestrated overthrow of Iran’s prime minister in 1953 and the reasons behind America’s tricky support of the Shah of Iran before the Islamic Revolution. He also talks about Ayatollah Khomeini’s beliefs and ideas about the goals of the Islamic Revolution.

Finally he puts into perspective the US policy towards the Islamic Republic of Iran and the role the Zionist regime plays into forcing the US to weight its strategies in favor of the Israeli regime’s interests.
